I truley believe that Corry was on that planet for no reason. Sometimes the american judicial systems choices are very unfair. His punishment is an example of cruel an unusual punishment. Cruel in the sense that this man, if his his punishment was never pardoned, would have no communications with any human beings for 50 years. Through these states loneliness, people become insane, in despair, and at time suicidal. What a horrible tragedy it would be if the police after 50 years come to pick him up, and to their despair, he ia rotting on the cold, hard desert ground.
